OF EMBASSY MASERU
Post requests that HR/EX authorize a complete layette shipment
for Robert E. Melvin. Mr. Melvin has been assigned to Mission
Maseru (ETA February 2010).
¶2. This request is being made because of the extreme scarcity,
poor quality, and inadequate safety feature of provisions
necessary for raising a newborn child in Lesotho (i.e.,
clothing, equipment, supplies, etc.). Post will do its best to
assist Mr. Melvin but our supplies and suppliers are limited in
this area.
