1. (SBU) Per reftel request, Econ delivered talking points on the
results of the 2008 annual review of the Generalized System of
Preferences (GSP) to Department of Trade and Industry Undersecretary
Thomas Aquino, on July 8. Aquino said that the Department of Trade
& Industry will issue a press release to inform Philippine exporters
of the 2008 GSP results for the Philippines.
