1. We request the Department's assistance in screening the
following individuals who have been nominated for USG-funded
training, pursuant to the Leahy Act and the Foreign
Assistance Act.
2. The following individuals will attend the Aircraft
Maintenance Course in Lackland AFB, TX, from June 15 -
October 15, 2009. The names are listed with the surnames
first, followed by rank and DOB:
Unit: Nicaraguan AIR FORCE
-- Potosme Gomez, Ervin Jose, Sgt., 31 Mar 1961
-- Blanco, Mario Martin, Sgt., 01 Feb 1975
-- Arauz Luna, Wilbert Oliverio, Sgt., 19 Jul 1979

3. In order to prepare for the participants' travel, we
appreciate the Department's response by June 8, 2009.
