The Spanish MFA confirms that they have been reviewing the
draft MOU on life, security and mobility support in
Afghanistan for the last couple weeks. While they don't have
a firm timeline for finishing consideration, they hope to
conclude the process quickly in the new year. Post
emphasized the importance of building the capacity of Afghan
institutions to withstand and diminish the threat posed by
extremism.
