(C) On November 24, DCM presented Reftel demarche to Exalgina Renee Gamboa, Vice Minister for External Affairs at the Ministry of External Relations, with emphasis on the persistence of U.S. efforts to engage Iran this year, and U.S. disappointment with Iran's follow-up to its P5 1 commitments made in Geneva last month.DCM also referred to the details of the TRR proposal and the flexibility of the U.S. and partners, and the implications of the IAEA Director General's November 16 report on Iran. ¶2. (C) Gamboa made no substantive remarks in reply to the demarche but said she would contact DCM should the Government have questions or comments. MOZENA
