On February 3, Pol-Econ officer shared the dates and
objectives of the upcoming Global Initiative to Combat
Nuclear Terrorism Workshop with Portuguese MFA Deputy
Director for Non-proliferation Joao Fins do Lago. Portugal
is an active supporter of the GI efforts and usually
participates in all GI meetings and workshops. Lago will
contact the coordinators by February 18 to confirm Portugal's
participation.
