(C) Poleconoff delivered reftel points on November 19 to Joao
Neves da Costa, Portugal's MFA Director for Middle East and
Maghreb Affairs, and again on November 24 to Paulo Santos,
MFA Deputy Director for Middle East Peace Process. Santos
said that EU members had agreed to vote as a block on all
remaining resolutions relating to Israel, particularly since
these resolutions are introduced each year and are well known
to EU member states. "There is no division as there was for
the Goldstone Report resolution; the EU will vote as a
block," Santos assured.
