Reftel points were delivered on August 14 to Silvia Inacio of
the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Office for Asia
Affairs who said Portugal is also disappointed with Aung San
Suu Kyi's conviction. Inacio said public statements
regarding the issue will continue to be coordinated and
released at the EU level.
