On July 3 Jose Barros, Director of External Relations for
ANACOM, the Portuguese National Communications Authority,
said Portugal opposes International Telecommunications
Satellite Organization (ITSO) Director General Toumi's push
for arbitration against the U.S. and U.K. Portugal will
attend the July 8-9 Rome meeting and looks forward to
discussing this matter further with the U.S. delegation.
