(C) Portuguese MFA Acting Political Director Rui Maciera was
surprised by the reftel points when he met with the DCM March
¶19. Nonetheless, he reaffirmed Portugal's support for the
KFOR mission, noting that KFOR was not a politically
contentious issue for Portugal. Maciera did not comment on
the views of other governments.
