Rodriguez on June 4. Rodriguez said his office would discuss
Ms. Myers' candidacy with the Peruvian Mission to the UN,
that the other countries presenting candidates are also
"friends of Peru," and that Peru's vote may depend on which
countries declared candidacy first. Post will report any
