Yepez. Yepez said Peru had received "no approach" from the
Russian government that Peru take actions tantamount to
recognizing the independence of Abkhazia or South Ossetia.
Yepez undertook to pass the message to the MFA's directorate
of European affairs and Peru's embassy in Moscow.
