Per instructions reftel, Embassy delivered diplomatic note No. 174 to the MFA informing that the acceptance of Ambassador Luis Miguel Valdivieso Montano as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to the United States is acceptable to the Government of the United States. A scanned copy of the note has been forwarded to the Department. ¶2. We also requested information from the MFA regarding Ambassador Valdivieso's plans to travel to Washington to take up his new duties.The North America Desk promised to provide us with Ambassador Valdivieso's precise travel itinerary when it is known, but indicated that it was unlikely he could travel to Washington before the end of March.
