SUBJECT: UNGA BOLIVIA ATTENDANCE: INTERIM REPORT

1. (SBU) As per reftel, Embassy has requested information
from the GOB Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the
attendance of President Morales, Foreign Minister
Choquehuanca, and all other members of the GOB delegation to
the UN General Assembly. At this time, the GOB has told us
only that President Morales will attend the General Assembly
on September 24. They were unable to provide any further
information. Embassy will send a separate update as more
information becomes available.


2. (SBU) As per reftel formatting request, please see the

Head of State/Government:

-- President Evo MORALES Ayma

-- Arrival and departure dates to and from New York are
unknown, but he will attend the General Assembly meeting on
September 24. GOB has not stated whether Morales will attend
the General Debate.

-- Attendance plans are unknown.
