1. Summary: For FY 2008, Embassy Abuja received an allocation of $40,000 for the Ambassador's Special Self-Help (SSH) Program. Seven projects were selected for funding by the Mission's interagency team according to the SSH selection criteria and Mission objectives. Five of the projects facilitated the purchase of school books and constructing furniture and desks for schools. Two of the projects were for the construction of wells.
