After tallying the results of a recount, the Kuwaiti Constitutional Court on October 28 replaced MP Dr. Badi Al-Dosari with former MP Khaled Al-Adwa. (Note: The Constitutional Court reviewed several cases against sitting MPs ranging from charges against two of the new female MPs for not complying with a supposed Shari'a imposition to wear the hijab (ref A), to minor voting irregularities, and to a weapons charge against MP Mubarak Al-Wa'lan. Of the pending files, the court applied a ruling only on the recount case against Al-Dosari. End note). ¶2.
