1. (U) The following individual listed in Paragraph 2 is the
commander of PGK/VAT-69, which is scheduled to participate in
Baker Mint 09-2 from July 14-20. Post has no information to
indicate that the individuals listed in Paragraph 2 have been
involved in gross violations of human rights.
2. (U) Post requests that the Department of State review its
files to determine whether the Department of State possesses
credible information of gross violations of human rights by
the following individual:
Individuals attending Instructor Development Course:
Hussin bin Haji Ismail
Director of Internal Security
Royal Malaysia Police
DPOB: 15-APR-1953, Johor, Malaysia
3. (U) Post requests that the Department of State provide
the necessary summary of its review. Post appreciates the
Department's assistance.
