(U) Poloff conveyed demarche (reftel) points to Ms. Nordiana
Zin Zawawi, Assistant Secretary in the MFA's International
Law Society Unit of the Multilateral Political Division, on
February 26. Zawawi told Poloff that the Government of
Malaysia has not yet decided on which candidates they will
support, and that she would forward Judge Painter's
credentials to their office in New York. Post will forward
