Polcouns conveyed reftel points and reftel invitation letter on September 18 to Banza Ngoy Katumwe, head of the MFA's international Organizations Directorate, encouraging the DRC to participate in the Partnering for Food Security Meeting, which will take place on the margins of this year's U.N. General Assembly on September 26. ¶2. Ngoy promised to deliver the invitation letter and draft statement for the event to Foreign Minister Alexis Thambwe Mwamba and to recommend the FM's participation in the event.
