(C) Polcouns met with Banza Ngoy Katumwe on September 17 to
encourage the GDRC to agree to meet Government of Kosovo
officials at the upcoming UNGA session. Ngoy confirmed that
the GDRC had received such a request from the GOK, but had
not yet decided whether to accept. Ngoy promised to convey
the USG position to Foreign Minister Alexis Thambwe, who will
lead the DRC delegation.
