AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN: DEMARCHE DELIVERED TO THE GDRC

(SBU) Ambassador conveyed reftel points on December 1 to
Prime Minister Adolphe Muzito, encouraging the GDRC to
support the international community's efforts in Afghanistan
and Pakistan. Ambassador promised to keep the GDRC apprised
of USG initiatives and to provide the PM and Presidency with
copies of President Obama's speech as soon as it becomes
available. Muzito thanked the Ambassador for the heads-up
and promised to relay the information to the President, who
was unreachable at the moment.
