1.(SBU) In the course of a private meeting on August 13, Ambassador
Vilma McNish, the Under Secretary for Multilateral Affairs in the
Government of Jamaica (GoJ)'s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
Foreign Trade, provided the following limited information to Charg
(keyed to paragraph 9, reftel):
A. Head of State has no plans to attend UNGA.
B. Head of Government will attend UNGA.
-- Bruce Golding, Prime Minister
-- arrival/departure dates not yet determined
-- whether spouse may accompany not yet determined
-- no interpretation required
C. Foreign Minister will attend UNGA.
-- Dr. Christopher Baugh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign
