1.(SBU) Per reftel, while speaking privately with the Government of
Jamaica's SOA Coordinator and Under Secretary for Bilateral and
Regional Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign
Trade, Amb. Paul Robothom, on the morning of April 15, EmbOff
reaffirmed the President's interest in meeting with CARICOM Heads of
Government and CARICOM SecGen on the evening of April 17 in
Port-of-Spain.
2.(SBU) Robothom said he had not yet seen the invitation, but said
Prime Minister Bruce Golding and other CARICOM leaders looked
forward to meeting with the President.
