1.(SBU) Per reftel, EmbOff delivered demarche in support of Judge
Mark Painter for a judicial position in the newly established system
to resolve staff grievances at the UN to Ms. Pamela Ingleton of the
International Organizations Office of the Government of Jamaica
(GoJ)'s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (MFAT) on the
morning of February 23.
2.(SBU) Ms. Ingleton expressed thanks for the Curriculum Vitae and
profile for Judge Painter, and said the MFAFT would consider his
candidacy. Post will report any further response from the GoJ.
