(C) SUMMARY: Mission has conveyed the U.S. response to North Korea's missile launch (ref B) and the official White House statement to officials in the President's office and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DEPLU). On April 5, DEPLU's official press spokesman expressed Indonesia 's concern over the launch. END SUMMARY. ¶2. (C) On April 6, Pol/C underscored USG points and discussed the situation with Tri Sukma (Nanu) Djandam in the office of President Yudhoyono. Djandam noted the official Indonesian expression of concern by the DEPLU spokesman the day before. Poloffs also provided copies of the points and statement to Cicilia Rusdiharini, DEPLU's Deputy Director for North American Affairs, and to Andy Rachmianto, DEPLU's Deputy Director for International Security and Disarmament. ¶3.
