(SBU) Further to information relayed Ref A, Japanese
Economic Counselor Toru Maeda advised us on March 27 that
the Japanese Embassy in Jakarta had received instructions
from Tokyo to deliver an invitation from the Japanese
Foreign Minister and World Bank President Zoellick to
the government of Indonesia to attend the upcoming
Pakistan Donors Conference in Tokyo. Maeda said the
Japanese Embassy was delivering the invitation to
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 27.
