Poloff delivered reftel demarche, invitation letter, and draft agenda to Luis Carranza, Director for Multilateral Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA),urging Guatemala's participation in the upcoming US-Canada-OAS Border Security Seminar in Vancouver. Carranza said he would advise poloff once the GOG has made a decision regarding its participation in the seminar. ¶2. As suggested in reftel, poloff coordinated outreach to the GOG with the Embassy of Canada and provided background information on the seminar. Ram Kamineni, Counselor at the Embassy of Canada, will urge Guatemala's participation during his upcoming meeting with the MFA. McFarland
