The Regional Security Office at EMBASSY Guatemala has identified
the following individuals to participate in ongoing police
training, covering a variety of subjects. Both of them are high
level officers in the National Police of Guatemala. The EMBASSY
has conducted its own review and found no credible information that
the individuals below have been involved in gross human rights
violations. Please conduct human rights vetting and advise of any
results by December 8, 2009.
