Embassy Grenada received on January 9, 2009 Government of Grenada diplomatic Note Number:PF-A38/08 dated January 8, 2009, advising that the term of office of His Excellency Denis Antoine, Ambassador to the United States of America will end effective January 9, 2009. Since we do not know whether Grenada's Embassy sent the note to the Department, we forward the text (para 2 below) for appropriate handling. The note does not address Antoine's tenure as Grenada's Ambassador to the Organization of American States. ¶2. Begin text: Note No: PF-A38/08 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Grenada presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States of America in St. George's and has the honour to advise that the term of office of His Excellency Denis Antoine to the USA will end effective 9th January, 2009. The Ministry further informs that Grenada is not in a position to send an Ambassador at this time, and consequently, Ms. Patricia Clarke will be appointed Charge d'Affaires ad interim. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Grenada avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the United States of America the assurances of its highest consideration.
