In response to reftel, Embassy Freetown provides the
following responses:
-- Sierra Leone is receiving U.S. foreign assistance for FY
¶09.
-- Sierra Leone's budget is made publicly available on the
Bank of Sierra Leone's website following its presentation to
Parliament by the Minister of Finance. The media frequently
dissect the budget when it is announced, usually in November
of each calendar year, as well as cover Parliamentary
discussions.
-- Income and expenditure estimations are included in the
publicly-available budget, and it usually takes a significant
time period for revisions to be published.
