This is an action request. See para three. ¶2. The following candidates have been selected for participation in the NESA Alumni Symposium in Morocco, which will begin on October 18, 2009. Post vetting was completed on September 08, 2009. Post requests that vetting be completed by September 24, 2009 to provide sufficient time for processing. Post requests the department conduct Leahy vetting for the following candidates: ¶1. Name: Mohammad Ashab Uddin Rank: Major General Unit: Defence Service Command & Staff College Unit Location: Dhaka Personal Number: BA - 1910 Date of Birth: 10 January 1959 Place of Birth: Sylhet, Bangladesh ¶2. Name: M Aminul Islam Rank: Group Captain Unit: Flying Wing, Bangladesh Air Force Unit Location: Kurmitola, Dhaka Personal Number: 7923 Date of Birth: 27 January 1965 Place of Birth: Bogra, Bangladesh ¶3. Post requests that the Department of State authorize post to make the following statement to the relevant DOD units: "Embassy verifies that the Department of State possesses no credible information of gross violations of human rights by the above named individual or unit." ¶4. Post Human Rights Officer is David Arulanantham, unclass e-mail:arulananthamdp@state.gov. ¶5.
