1. (U) POLOFF conveyed reftel points and the Treasury
advisory to Sanchita Haque, Senior Assistant Secretary in
Bangladesh's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) UN and Human
Rights Wing. Haque said the Government of Bangladesh
appreciated the USG's position on this important issue and
pledged to pass to relevant line Ministries the information
provided by the USG.
