This is an action request. See para three. ¶2. The following candidates have been selected for participation in the General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) repair and Calibration in USA, which will begin on November 13, 2009. Post vetting was completed on October 26, 2009. Post requests that vetting be completed by November 9, 2009 to provide sufficient time for processing. Post requests the department conduct Leahy vetting for the following candidates: ¶1. Name: Muhammad Abu Tayub Rank: Warrant Officer Unit: Bangladesh Air Force Unit Location: Dhaka Personal Number: 460329 Date of Birth: 17 March 1968 Place of Birth: Chittagong, Bangladesh ¶2. Name: Md Mafizul Islam Rank: Sergeant Unit: Bangladesh Air Force Unit Location: Dhaka Personal Number: 462559 Date of Birth: 31 January 1973 Place of Birth: Comilla, Bangladesh ¶3. Post requests that the Department of State authorize post to make the following statement to the relevant DOD units: "Embassy verifies that the Department of State possesses no credible information of gross violations of human rights by the above named individual or unit." ¶4. Post Human Rights Officer is David Arulanantham, unclass e-mail:arulananthamdp@state.gov. ¶5.
