Per reftel request, POLOFF met with the Secretary General of
the Ministry of Agriculture, Ninamou Dominique, on February
12 to discuss liability and redress under the Cartagena
Protocol on Biosafety. Dominique said that Guinea will not
be sending a delegation to the upcoming Mexico City
conference. Further, he said that his government has no
current positions on any of the issues outlined in reftel.
