¶1. (S/NF) Deborah Stokes, Department of Foreign Affairs and
Trade (DFAT) First Assistant Secretary for South Asia, Middle
East and Africa will head the Australian delegation, which
will include experts from a variety of departments. Stokes
told Poleconcouns that Australia is grateful to be included
and that she is pushing her colleagues to put together ideas
for the meeting. In a separate conversation DFAT Middle East
Section Director Jenny Bloomfield told Poleconcouns that a
group of Australian intelligence community experts on Iran
who just left Washington the evening of September 28 may be
asked to go back to participate in this meeting.
