¶1. (SBU) PolOff told Director of International Organizations
in the Ministry of External Relations Adolphe Nahayo January
13 that the USG has imposed sanctions on thirteen people and
three private companies for engaging in activities related to
the global A.Q. Khan proliferation network. PolOff
emphasized that no sanctions were imposed on individual
countries. Nahayo said he will pass the announcement to his
Minister.
