(SBU) Econoff delivered reftel talking points to Mark Horvath, Head of Section for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation at the Hungarian MFA, and to Kristof Horvath, Department Head for Nuclear and Radioactive Materials at the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority (HAEA). Both interlocutors indicated general support for the concept of the proposed International Nuclear Energy Framework and promised to discuss the points with their superiors at their respective agencies. HAEA Director General Dr. Jozsef Ronaky is expected to attend the GNEP Executive Committee Meeting in Beijing on October 23. ¶2. (SBU) Mark Horvath, who is also coordinating Hungary's current presidency of the Nuclear Suppliers' Group, expressed Hungary's strong interest in receiving an invitation to the Global Nuclear Security Summit to be held in Washington next spring.
