Budapest 30 September 2009
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Hungary presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United
States of AMERICA in Budapest and with reference to the Note
Verbale No. 2009-221 of the Embassy dated 22 September 2009
has the honour to communicate the following:
The Government of the Republic of Hungary welcomes the
decision of the Government of the United States of AMERICA to
present its candidate for re-election in category A to the
Council of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) at
the elections to be held during the 26th session of the IMO
Assembly from 23 November to 4 December 2009 in London.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Hungary takes this opportunity to inform the Embassy of the
United States of AMERICA in Budapest that the Government of
the Republic of Hungary has decided to support the
candidature of the United States of AMERICA in category A to
the Council of the International Maritime Organization.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Hungary avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the
Embassy of the United States of AMERICA the assurances of its
highest consideration.
