MFA IO Deputy Director Veronika Lakatos told the Embassy that the points were conveyed to the Hungarian delegation currently in New York (which includes Prime Minister Bajnai, Foreign Minister Balazs, and Political Director Gabor Iklody),and that while she was unaware of the final decision, she expected that Hungary would join the EU consensus on the issue.
