(U) Senior Counselor Zsuzsanna Szablyar of the Hungarian Ministry of Finance International Relations Department confirmed to the Embassy that Hungary cast its ballot in support of Kosovo's World Bank Membership (including IBRD/IFC/IDA and MIGA). The Embassy was also copied on Hungary's correspondence with World Bank official Estela Sanidad, who confirmed registration of Hungary's vote. The correspondence indicated that Hungary originally sent in its vote by fax on April 28, 2009, but that the World Bank failed to register the vote. Ms. Sanidad apologized for the oversight and confirmed Hungary's affirmative vote for Kosovo's Membership on May 28. Levine
