(SBU) POLOFF spoke to MFA Director for Western Balkans Ene
Alexandru on June 1 regarding reftel demarche points.
Alexandru confirmed that Romania would vote before the
deadline, but would oppose Kosovo's World Bank membership.
He underscored that the Romanian vote is consistent with its
current policy of non-recognition for Kosovo. A "no" vote
also tracks with Romania's previous opposition to Kosovo
membership in the IMF.
