information to Laura Gradinariu of the Office for the
Implementation of International Sanctions at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs (MFA). Ms. Gradinariu thanked the USG for
the information and stated that she did not anticipate
Romania would oppose our 1267 listing proposal, but was
unsure whether Romania would offer to be a co-sponsor. Post
will report any substantive follow-up received from MFA
