(S) Post delivered reftel demarche points to Laura
Gradinariu of the Office for the Implementation of
International Sanctions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
(MFA) on February 23rd. Ms. Gradinariu promised that the
Government of Romania (GOR) would consider co-sponsorship of
the 1267 listing proposal, but she noted that the
inter-agency process to come to an agreement on this would
likely take some time. Post will report septel if the GOR
does ultimately agree to be a co-sponsor, but as of March
10th they had not yet made a final decision.
