She said that Belgium has not taken a position on whom to support yet, and will examine Ms. Myers' CV carefully. Belgium will send a note verbale to the U.S. mission in New York shortly before the vote, stating its position on Ms. Myers. She said that Foreign Minister Leterme will instruct the Belgian Mission in New York whom to vote for, but was unwilling to commit the GOB to support Ms. Myers at this point. She said that Belgium enters into reciprocity agreements and would welcome the support of the U.S. with the upcoming re-election of Peter Maddens in the Advisory Committee on Administrative & Budgetary Questions (ACABQ).
