FOLLOWING AGREEMENT WITH PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS (PWC)
REF: STATE 79853
(SBU) POLOFF delivered reftel points to Isabelle
Maduda-Lukebamoko, Attach for Sub-Saharan Africa at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on August 5. Maduda-Lukebamoko
was not aware of the agreement reached between Somalia's
Transitional Federal Government and PWC. She said that the
GOB will follow through on the USD 646,831 pledged by Belgium
to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM). She said
she has no control over the timing of delivery of the
assistance, but she estimates the GOB will disburse it
sometime during the third quarter of 2009.
