The Ministry of Health was informed on June 26th by the Caribbean Epidemology Center (CAREC) based in Trinidad that the sample of a 32 year old woman was positive for the H1N1 virus. The patient had recently returned from a trip to the United Kingdom and is currently recovering. Accoridng to CAREC's latest statistics (confirmed by CDC),this is the fifth case in the Eastern Caribbean region, with three recorded in Barbados and one in Dominica. HARDT
