1. (U) Mission officers have contacted senior and working
level contacts in ministries of foreign affairs and national
security in all countries in our AOR to encourage
participation and substantive input into the technical talks
in Paramaribo as requested reftel. In addition, Mission
officers discussed the meeting with CARICOM IMPACS contacts
and ACCP staff during an IMPACS working group meeting in
Bridgetown on April 30, where participants voiced significant
interest in participating. Mission officers also contacted
RSS leadership, who confirmed RSS will attend.
