1. (U) Embassy Bridgetown received diplomatic note number
172/2009, dated 21 April 2009 from the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs in St. Vincent and the Grenadines regarding the
export of sugar to the United States. The MFA stated "St.
Vincent and the Grenadines is not a producer of sugar." St.
Vincent and the Grenadines will thus not request a quota
allocation for sugar, and can be expected not/not to request
a quota allocation in future years.
