Reftel points were delivered to officials in the Ministry of
Environment (MinEnv) who indicated the GOS plans to seek entry
to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). MinEnv
officials indicated that timetables and specific details of
entry are still being reviewed. They also reiterated Slovakia's
commitment to rely on renewable sources for as much as 14
percent of its energy needs by 2020.
