1. (SBU) On 4 March 2009, EST officer delivered REFTEL invitation
for Brazil to participate in the Nuclear Smuggling International
Technical Working Group (ITWG) annual meeting in Vienna, Austria, 29
June to 2 July 2009, to the Brazilian Foreign Ministry's (MRE)
Disarmament and Sensitive Technologies Division.
2. (SBU) MRE has not yet responded to the invitation. Post will
advise of MRE's response when available.
